There are really some famous women’s sorority or fraternity clubs which have become world famous with their ever growing popularity and club strength with the ever growing membership.
Chi Omega is one among them and is one of the oldest women?s fraternity. It is also otherwise shortly called as Chi O. It was founded in 1895 at University of Arkansas. It was founded by Dr. Charles Richardson. Chi Omega has a very large number of members enrolled.
The other most famous women’s fraternity group in U.S. is the Zeta Tau Alpha. It was shortly known as ZTA. It was founded in 1898 on October 15. It was founded at State Female Normal School which was later rechristened as Longwood University in Virginia. Zeta Tau Alpha is said to rank in number three among the National Panhellenic group. It has around hundred and eighty thousand members.
The next most famous women?s sorority is the Alpha Kappa Alpha. This is also first sorority which was named after the Greek letter. It was founded in 1908. It was founded in Howard College by a group of students. It was also the first sorority to let the African American as members. Alpha Kappa Alpha is also one group which is spread across many countries across Europe and Asia.
