I have just been taking a look at a computer training directory to see what is available for me to do. My company are having some redundancies soon and I am worried about my job and so I have been looking around to see what else is available. I am worried that my skills are not that up to date and so I am thinking of doing a bit of online training to get some certifications under my belt. I am hoping to find something that I can study for in the evenings and will not interrupt my job and then if I do get made redundant, I can increase the intensity of my study so that I get my certificate more quickly. Even if I do not lose my job, I think that it will do me good to do a course and expand my skills and it may even help my job prospects in my current company. I may be able to move to another position in the company or get a promotion or pay rise when the economy sorts itself out and the company is profitable again. I think that it will advantage me in any situation and so I am going to decide on a course this weekend so that I can start as soon as possible.
